“From Here, From There” - exhibition in the one remaining house of the 1948 destroyed village al-Ma`in

`The White House Gallery” in kibbutz Nir Oz is the only house remained standing of the village al-Ma`in, occupied and destroyed in 1948.
A new exhibit by Eitan Bronstein Aparicio presents there the story of the Palestinian village.
The historical and geographical surrounding of the gallery are  shown with the involvement of the refugees from al-Ma`in,  most of whom are living in Khan Yunis, 8 km away the the Gaza Strip.
Ahmad Salman Saqer Abu Sitta is the grandson of the man who built the house where the gallery is now located.
In the invitation photo he`s pointing at the lands of his village from his current home in Khan Yunis.
He can only say `I`m from there` but can`t return, nor even visit his hometown.
This exhibit is an attempt to overcome the fragmentation of the space by violent military power and control.
