The photographer Nin Solis has applied her sensitive and human documentary style to narrate the impotence that results when state and justice fail. Her project entitled “The Missing 43” is a work in progress that makes a valuable and enduring contribution to discussions surrounding extreme violence in Mexico.
Nin Solis studied Architecture at Universidad Iberoamericana in Puebla, Mexico, and did her master’s degree in Photography at Burg Giebichenstein Art Academy in Halle, Germany. She was a fellow of the DAAD and FONCA-Mexico. Her work has been exhibited in international galleries and institutions.
