Since the beginning of October, more than 120 people - Palestinians and Israelis – lost their lives in yet another escalation of the occupation violence. Hundreds were injured.  Lives are cut off abruptly. Entire families are deeply hurt, physically and psychologically. Fear and hatred reign in the streets and at home. Enough!

                                 

Throughout the West Bank, as well as in the Palestinian neighborhoods of East Jerusalem, there is an ongoing military and police offensive against the general population. This goes almost completely unreported in the mainstream Israeli media.

The racist settlement enclave at the heart of Hebron, a focus of ceaseless violence, has created an Apartheid situation in the city. Tens of thousands of people experience daily harassment. Hundreds of families have already been evicted from their homes, and their businesses were closed down. Hundreds more are directly targeted. The settlers, ensconced on higher floors of Hebron buildings, literally throw down their garbage on the heads of Palestinian passersby in the street below. Such outrageous daily humiliations would have been more than enough to drive each and every one of us to rebel!

Even here, inside Israel, acts of lynching and extrajudicial executions following stabbings have become a daily routine. Such acts encouraged, aided and abetted by the incitement of the Prime Minister in person - as of numerous other holders of senior public positions. This is not the way to provide security – not to anyone!. On the contrary, despair is increasing and the future looks bleak. The heavy price is being paid daily by the men and women of our two peoples. No more!

لن نرضى للاحتلال! لن نصمت ازاء سفك الدماء! اعتصام ا

حتجاجي امام وزارة الدفاع تل ابيب
منذ بداية أكتوبر قُتل ما يزيد عن 120 فلسطيني وإسرائيلي في واحدة من موجات التصعيد العنيف للاحتلال. مئاتٌ من المصابين جسديَاً ونفسيَاً, عائلاتُ ثكلت أبناءها, حيواتُ اجتثّت ودب الخوف والكراهية في كل مكان. 

كفى!  

في أرجاء الضفة الغربية وأحياء القدس الفلسطينية تستمر هجمات الاحتلال على السكان الفلسطينيين دون أن تلقى أصداءً لها في الإعلام العبري. 
الاحتلال العنصري في الخليل وصل حدّ الأبرتهايد, والاضطهاد العنيف متواصل حيث يعيش عشرات الآلاف تحت المعاناة اليومية. مئات العائلات طُردت من منازلها وأغلقت محالّها. مئات أخرى تعيش حالة من الترقب والقلق. 
يُلقي المستوطنون النفايات على رؤوس الفلسطينيين في السوق والشوارع. الإهانات اليومية التي يتعرض لها الفلسطينيون كانت لتثير غضب أيَ منَا. 
هنا في الداخل أصبحت الاعتداءات الغوغائية والقتل بدون محاكمة, على إثر محاولات الطعن وبمعزل عنها, حالة طبيعية وذلك بفعل التحريض الذي تقوم به شخصيات رسمية سياسية وأولها رئيس الوزراء. 
لن يأتينا هذا كلَه بالأمن! بل على العكس, فإن اليأس في ازدياد والمستقبل قاتم. 
نرفض أن يدفع أبناء وبنات الشعبين الثمن بعد اليوم !

מאז תחילת אוקטובר למעלה מ-120 הרוגים, פלסטינים וישראלים, בעוד אחת מהסלמות האלימות של הכיבוש. מאות פצועים. משפחות פגועות, חיים שנגדעו, נפגעי גוף ונפש, פחד ושנאה ברחובות ובבתים. די!!!

בכל רחבי הגדה המערבית ובשכונות הפלסטיניות במזרח ירושלים נמשכות התקפות חוזרות ונשנות על האוכלוסייה, שכלל לא מדווחות בתקשורת העברית.

ההתנחלות הגזענית בחברון יוצרת אפרטהייד ומוקד בלתי פוסק של אלימות. עשרות אלפי אנשים חווים התעללות יומיומית, מאות משפחות כבר פונו מבתיהן ועסקיהן נסגרו, מאות רבות על הכוונת. המתנחלים שופכים זבל על ראשי הפלסטינים בשוק וברחוב. ההשפלות היומיומיות היו מקוממות כל אחד ואחת מאיתנו.

גם כאן, בתוך ישראל, מעשי הלינץ׳ והוצאה להורג ללא משפט בעקבות הדקירות הפכו לעניין יום-יומי בחסות הסתה של אישי ציבור ובראשם ראש הממשלה. זה לא מביא ביטחון. להיפך: הייאוש גובר והעתיד נראה איום ונורא. את המחיר הכבד משלמים בני ובנות שני עמינו. לא עוד!
