Dear Comrades and Friends,

We have been witnessing an ominous acceleration of the fascist Trump-Pence regime’s drive to consolidate its grip on state power and to make a leap towards fully casting aside the bourgeois democratic norms and functioning of the constitutional form of rule of the capitalist-imperialist class over the masses of people in the US. Integral to these dangerous moves by the regime are the unprecedented new forms of assault on the masses, unleashing fascist forms of repression, violence and terror targeting particularly the ongoing protests and rebellions against the institutionalized white supremacy and police terror. It is an extremely dangerous drive to put in place a fully fascist form of rule, the “exercise of blatant dictatorship of the bourgeois (capitalist-imperialist) class, ruling through reliance on open terror and violence…”

The creation and deployment of special paramilitary forces tied to the levers controlled by the regime, the sidelining of the legally elected officials and other dissenting liberal democratic forces and the drive to achieve a full spectrum dominance against all developments that can possibly break out and oppose the Trump-Pence regime’s drive to consolidate fascism represent a hallmark of fascism and extremely alarming initiatives that stalk the political stage

In the face of these developments and the violent fascist assault, protesters have been taking to the streets famously in Portland and later spreading to other major cities. The significance and the urgency of confronting the fascist nature and program of the Trump-Pence regime and driving it out of power by massive, sustained and organized nonviolent struggle of the masses from below, stands out as a vitally important task of the day and an indispensable preparation of the overall struggle to work towards a fundamental solution to do away with the ground and framework that has given rise to it. And all this has critical implications for people throughout the world - supporting this struggle and learning from the method and approach leading it.
