Environmental and Human Rights Activist Rachna Dhingra honoured
On November 23rd, 2019 the Indian environmental and human rights activist Rachna Dhingra and the Sambhavna Trust clinic that was founded by activists, were honored with the International ethecon Blue Planet Award 2019 in Berlin as part of a public event.
CEO and Group founder José Batista Sobrinho and his sons, the major shareholders Joesley and Wesley Mendonça Batista from the world's largest meat group JBS S.A. (Brazil) have been defamed with the International ethecon Dead Planet Award.

During the public and on livestream broadcasted worldwide event in the Berlin, the three members of the Batista clan, the world's largest meat production company JOSÉ BATISTA SOBRINHO S.A. (JBS) who had and still have significant ownership, control and direction over the company, were named and shamed by ethecon Foundation Ethics & Economics (in cooperation with the umbrella organization of Critical Shareholders) for their responsibility in countless crimes against humanity and the environment with the most well-known ‚negative prize‘ for corporate crimes - the International ethecon Dead Planet Award 2019 - and put on the pillory.
At the same event, Indian environmental and human rights activist Rachna Dhingra was honored with the International ethecon Blue Planet Award 2019. She has been fighting for decades in Bhopal (India) for the compensation of hundreds of thousands of victims of the greatest chemical disaster in human history and also demanding justice for the thousands of people killed in this devastating incident. The demands include a fast rehabilitation of the tens of square miles of contaminated land and water in the Indian multi-million metropolis after in 1984 a pesticide plant, which now belongs to the chemical group DOW DUPONT, exploded.
On Latin American affairs expert Christian Russau responded in his diatribe to JBS laureates, who were pilloried by the International ethecon Dead Planet Award in 2019 for their numerous bribery and rotten-meat scandals and their responsibility in the ongoing massive fire deforestation in the Amazon Area and JBS's brutal and lethal violence against indigenous peoples.

as leading managers and important major shareholders. You own the group to a large extent. You lead the company. The ruin of peoples health and the destruction of the environment on a grand scale - even the deaths of countless individuals - is on them. They pose not only a threat to peace and human rights, but also to democracy, ecology and humanity as a whole. They act for the benefit of personal power and personal enrichment. For that, they trample on morality and ethics and accept the demise of Earth to a dead, uninhabitable planet.“
The laudation for the recipient of the International ethecon Blue Planet Award 2019 from India was given by Michael Gottlob from Amnesty International. He recalled that the terrible catastrophe persists, that the victims are still suffering and that the bereaved relatives of the killed people are still waiting for justice. Since the contaminated soils and the ground and surface waters are not disinfected and rehabilitated today, people are being poisoned every single day. To this day yearly hundreds of people continue to die from contamination in Bhopal. The catastrophe itself is not only a crime of the DOW Group, who scandalously reduced security measures solely to keep profits, but also the continued denial of compensation and rehabilitation is a crime.
Axel Köhler-Schnura, founding director and CEO of ethecon, quoted the rationale behind the presentation of the International ethecon Blue Planet Award 2019: "The human rights and environmental activist Rachna Dhingra (India) defends human and environmental rights and goes to war despite her own safety against injustice, state violence and corporate arbitrariness. She resolutely advocates not only for human and environmental rights but also the development of these universal fundamental rights, as it is for the benefit of the human community. She upholds morality and ethics and opposes Earth's demise as a dead, uninhabitable planet. ethecon, in a world increasingly geared to profit as the only criterion of any decision and development, sees in the actions of Rachna Dhingra and the Sambhavna Trust team an outstanding contribution to the salvation and preservation of our Blue Planet.“
In her acceptance speech, Indian environmental and human rights activist Rachna Dhingra highlighted the achievements of ordinary people in the chemically contaminated Bhopal: ‚Any success, such as access to clean tap water or the revision of legal proceedings against DOW DUPONT as those responsible for the 1984 chemical disaster, has only been possible thanks to the fighting spirit and endurance of the entire population of Bhopal.' She then introduced the young woman standing next to her as Nousheen Khan, who herself had lost family members to the poison and is now working with hearing impaired children as a speech therapist. Dhingra thanked the foundation for her honorary award and the trophy, which can be found as a mural by Klaus Klinger, a well-known Düsseldorf street art group "Farbfieber", on ‘Toulouser Allee‘ in Düsseldorf-Derendorf. The trophy presented in Berlin is a photo of this mural that was also signed by the artist Klaus Klinger. And always a valuable and unique Blue Planet Award.

Am 23.11.2019 wurden in Berlin im Rahmen einer öffentlichen Veranstaltung die indische Umwelt- und Menschenrechtsaktivistin Rachna Dhingra und die von Aktivist*innen aufgebaute Klinik Sambhavna Trust mit dem Internationalen ethecon Blue Planet Award 2019 geehrt.
Vorstand und Konzern-Gründer José Batista Sobrinho sowie seine Söhne, die Großaktionäre Joesley und Wesley Mendonça Batista vom weltgrößten Fleisch-Konzern JBS S.A. (Brasilien) wurden mit dem Internationalen ethecon Dead Planet Award geschmäht.

Die drei Mitglieder des Batista-Clans, der den weltgrößten Fleischkonzern JOSÉ BATISTA SOBRINHO S.A. (JBS) gegründet hat und bis heute maßgeblich besitzt, kontrolliert und leitet, wurden am 23.11.2019 in einer öffentlichen und per Livestream weltweit übertragenen Veranstaltung in Berlin von ethecon Stiftung Ethik & Ökonomie (in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Dachverband der kritischen Aktionär*innen) wegen ihrer Verantwortung für zahllose Verbrechen gegen Mensch und Umwelt mit dem wohl bekanntesten Schmähpreis für Konzern-Verbrechen, mit dem Internationalen ethecon Dead Planet Award 2019 an den Pranger gestellt.
Zugleich wurde die indische Umwelt- und Menschenrechtsaktivistin Rachna Dhingra mit dem Internationalen ethecon Blue Planet Award 2019 geehrt. Sie kämpft seit Jahrzehnten in Bhopal (Indien) für die Entschädigung hunderttausender Opfer der größten Chemie-Katastrophe in der Geschichte der Menschheit, um Gerechtigkeit für zehntausende Angehörige von in diesem verheerenden Desaster ums Leben gekommener Menschen und um die Sanierung von auf zig Quadratkilometern verseuchtem Boden und Wasser in der indischen Multi-Millionen-Metropole, in der 1984 ein Pestizid-Werk, das heute zum Chemie-Konzern DOW DUPONT gehört, explodierte.
Der Lateinamerika-Experte Christian Russau ging in seiner Schmährede zu den mit dem Internationalen ethecon Dead Planet Award 2019 an den Pranger gestellten Preisträgern von JBS auf die zahlreichen Bestechungs- und Gammelfleisch-Skandale ein, auf deren Verantwortung für die anhaltenden gigantischen Brand-Rodungen im Amazonas-Gebiet und auf die von JBS ausgehende brutale und tödliche Gewalt gegen Indigene.
Das ethecon-team verlas auf Deutsch und Portugiesisch den Offenen Brief an die geschmähten Preisträger des Internationalen ethecon Dead Planet Award 2019: „In erster Linie verantwortlich für Entscheidungen und Handeln des Fleisch-Konzerns JBS S.A. sind Sie

Auf ihr Konto gehen der Ruin der menschlichen Gesundheit und die Zerstörung der Umwelt im großen Stil, ja selbst der Tod vieler Menschen. Sie stellen nicht nur eine Gefahr für den Frieden und die Menschenrechte dar, sondern auch für die Demokratie, die Ökologie und die Menschheit insgesamt. Sie handeln zum Vorteil persönlicher Macht und privater Bereicherung. Dafür treten sie Moral und Ethik mit Füßen und nehmen den Untergang der Erde als toter, unbewohnbarer Planet in Kauf.“
Die Laudatio für die mit dem Internationalen ethecon Blue Planet Award 2019 geehrte Preisträgerin aus Indien hielt Michael Gottlob von Amnesty International. Er erinnerte dabei daran, dass die schreckliche Katastrophe andauert, dass die Opfer noch immer leiden und dass die trauernden Angehörigen von ums Leben gekommen Menschen noch immer auf Gerechtigkeit warten. Da die großflächig verseuchten Böden und die Grund- und Oberflächengewässer bis heute nicht entseucht und saniert sind, vergiften sich täglich neu Menschen, jedes Jahr sterben in Bhopal weiter Hunderte Menschen. Die Katastrophe selbst ist nicht nur ein Verbrechen des DOW Konzerns, der für den Profit in skandalöser Weise an der Sicherheit sparte, auch die anhaltende Verweigerung von Entschädigung und Sanierung ist ein Verbrechen.
Axel Köhler-Schnura, Gründungsstifter und Vorstand von ethecon, zitierte aus der Begründung für die Verleihung des Internationalen ethecon Blue Planet Award 2019: „Die Menschenrechts- und Umweltaktivistin Rachna Dhingra (Indien) verteidigt ungeachtet ihrer eigenen Sicherheit Menschen- und Umweltrechte und stellt sich Krieg, Ungerechtigkeit, staatlicher Gewalt und Konzernwillkür mutig entgegen. Sie tritt entschlossen nicht nur für die Menschen- und Umweltrechte ein, sondern auch für einen Ausbau dieser universalen Grundrechte. Sie handelt zum Vorteil der menschlichen Gemeinschaft. Sie hält Moral und Ethik hoch und stemmt sich gegen den Untergang der Erde als toter, unbewohnbarer Planet. ethecon sieht in einer zunehmend auf den Profit als einzigem Kriterium jeglicher Entscheidung und Entwicklung ausgerichteten Welt im Handeln von Rachna Dhingra und dem Team des Sambhavna Trust einen herausragenden Beitrag zu Rettung und zum Erhalt unseres Blauen Planeten“
In ihrer Dankrede betonte die indische Umwelt- und Menschenrechtsaktivistin Rachna Dhingra die Leistungen der einfachen Menschen im chemisch verseuchten Bhopal: „Jeder Erfolg, etwa der Zugang zu sauberem Leitungswasser oder die Wiederaufnahme von Gerichtsverfahren gegen die für die Chemie-Katastrophe von 1984 Verantwortlichen von DOW DUPONT, ist dem Kampfgeist und der Ausdauer der ganzen Bevölkerung von Bhopal zu verdanken.“ Sie stellte dabei die neben ihr stehende junge Frau Nousheen Khan vor, die selbst Familienangehörige an das Gift verloren hatte und sich heute als Sprachtherapeutin um geschädigte Kinder kümmert. Dhingra bedankte sich für den ihr verliehenen Ehrenpreis und die Trophäe, die von der bekannten Düsseldorfer Street-Art-Gruppe „Farbfieber“ um Klaus Klinger in der Toulouser Allee in Düsseldorf-Derendorf als Wandbild (Mural) zu finden ist. Bei der in Berlin überreichten Preis-Trophäe handelt es sich um ein von dem Künstler Klaus Klinger signiertes Foto dieses Mural, wie üblich beim Blue Planet Award ein wertvolles Unikat.

Premios Internacionales de ethecon 2019
El Premio Planeta Muerto a el presidente de la junta directiva y los principales accionistas del mayor productor de carne del mundo JBS, (Brasil).
El Premio Planeta Azul honra a Rachna Dhingra, una activista de los derechos humanos de Bhopal (Indien) y a la clinica autónoma “Sambhavna Trust”.
El 23 de noviembre 2019, en un evento público, la activista india de derechos humanos y medio ambiente Rachna Dhingra y la clínica Sambhavna Trust fundada por activistas después del envenenamiento por la explosiòn de gas tóxico, desastre de la humanidad en Bhopal (India), fueron honrados con el Premio Internacional Planeta Azul 2019 de ethecon en Berlín.
El CEO y fundador del mayor consorcio cárnico del mundo JBS (Brasil), José Batista Sobrinho y sus hijos, los principales accionistas Joesley y Wesley Mendonça Batista del mismo grupo han sido desprestigiados con el Premio Internacional Planeta Muerta 2019 de ethecon.
En el contexto de una fotografía sombría de la selva tropical en llamas, tres retratos aparecieron en la pantalla de la sala:

Estos tres son miembros del clan Batista, fundador de la compañía de carne más grande del mundo JOSÈ BATISTA SOBRINHO S.A. (JBS) y sus hijos. Hasta el día de hoy, ellos poseen, controlan y guían con decisión dicho grupo industrial. Fueron puestos a la picota con el Premio Internacional Planeta Muerta de la fundación ethecon el 23 de noviembre de 1919. El evento público en Berlín se llevó a cabo en colaboración con “Dachverband der Kritischen Aktionäre” y se transmitió a través de livestream en vivo a todo el mundo. Debido a su responsabilidad por innumerables crímenes contra los derechos humanos y el medio ambiente, se merecen el premio negativo lo más conocido por crimenes corporativos.
Al mismo tiempo, la activista india de derechos humanos y medio ambiente Rachna Dhingra fue honrada con el Premio Internacional Ethecon Blue Planet 2019. Ha estado luchando durante décadas en Bhopal, India, por la compensación de cientos de miles de víctimas del mayor desastre químico en la historia humana. Ella demanda justicia para decenas de miles de personas muertas en este desastre devastador. El experto en America Latina Christian Russau respondió en su diatriba a los galardonados del internacional ethecon Dead Planet Award 2019, los responsables del grupo JBS, accusadolos por los numerosos sobornos y escándalos de carnes podridos, y que son responsables de la gigantesca tala y quema masiva en la región amazónica. Hizo hincapié en la violencia brutal y letal de JBS contra los indigenas.
Niklas Hoves, Director Gerente de ethecon Fundación Etica & Economía, citó de la carta abierta de ethecon Fundación Etica & Economía a los malvados ganadores del Premio internacional ethecon Dead Planet 2019: "Primero y lo más responsable de las decisiones y acciones del grupo cárnico JBS S.A. son ustedes,

como gerentes líderes e importantes accionistas importantes. Ustedes poseen la mayor parte del consortio. La ruina de la salud humana y la destrucción del medio ambiente a gran escala, e incluso la muerte de muchas personas, corre a su cuenta. Incluso la muerte de muchas personas. Representan no solo una amenaza para la paz y los derechos humanos, sino también para la democracia, la ecología y la humanidad en general. Michael Gottlob, de Amnistía Internacional, entregó el elogio al destinatario del Premio Internacional Ethecon Blue Planet 2019 de la India. Recordó que la terrible catástrofe persiste, que las víctimas siguen sufriendo y que los familiares de las personas asesinadas todavía están esperando la justicia. Dado que los suelos contaminados y las aguas subterráneas y superficiales no se descontaminan y rehabilitan hoy, las personas están envenenandose todos los días. Cada año en Bhopal se siguen muriendo cientos de personas. La catástrofe en sí misma no es el solo crimen del Grupo DOW, que para sus ganancias ha ignorado escandalosamente la seguridad, sino que también la continua negación de compensación y descontaminación es un crimen.
Axel Köhler-Schnura, fundador y presidente de la junta directiva de ethecon, citó del documento de la justificación de los motivos de la presentación del Premio internacional ethecon Blue Planet Award 2019: "La activista de derechos humanos y medio ambiente Rachna Dhingra (India) defiende los derechos humanos y ambientales, independientemente de su propia seguridad, y lucha valientemente contra la guerra, la injusticia, la violencia estatal y la arbitrariedad de las empresas grandes internacionales. Defiende resueltamente no solo los derechos humanos y ambientales, sino también el desarrollo de estos derechos fundamentales universales. Actúa en beneficio de la comunidad humana. Ella defiende la moral y la ética y se opone a la desaparición de la Tierra como un planeta muerto e inhabitable. ethecon, en un mundo cada vez más orientado a obtener ganancias como el único criterio de decisión y desarrollo, ve en las acciones de Rachna Dhingra y el equipo de Sambhavna Trust una contribución sobresaliente a la salvación y preservación de nuestro Planeta Azul "
En su discurso de agradecimiento, la activista india por la paz y los derechos humanos Rachna Dhingra enfatizó los logros de la gente común en Bhopal quienes eran y son contaminados químicamente: "Cualquier éxito, como el acceso al agua potable o la reanudación de los procedimientos legales contra DOW DUPONT, responsable del desastre químico de 1984, se debe al espíritu de lucha y perseverancia de toda la población de Bhopal.
También es un logro admirable que Sambhavna Trust haya construido una clínica autónoma con donaciones durante decadas que han recibido de decenas de miles de personas de todo el mundo. Cada año, cerca de 20,000 personas son tratadas aquí, y entretanto sobre todo niños (!). Y están llevando a cabo su propia investigación sobre la catástrofe ". Luego presentó su compañera, la joven Nousheen Khan, quien también, cuando era niña, fue victima del desastre.
Le agradeció el premio honorífico ethecon Blue Planet Award y quedó encantada con el "trofeo". Este es un gran mural, diseñado por el conocido grupo de arte callejero "Farbfieber" de Klaus Klinger de Dusseldorf. Se realizó en el Toulouser Allee en Dusseldorf-Derendorf y tiene un tamaño de aproximadamente 4 x 2.3 m.
El trofeo del premio presentado en Berlín es una foto de este mural, firmado por el artista Klaus Klinger, como todos los premios del ethecon Blue Planet Award un valiosa espécimen unico.

La fundación, todavía joven, está buscando más apoyo, donaciones y miembros patrocinadores.
Ya desde el 2006 ethecon otorga anualmente ambos premios, el positivo y el negativo, el Premio Internacional Blue Planet Award por el extraordinario compromiso para la conservación y salvación del «Planeta Azul»y a la vez el Premio Internacional Dead Planet Award por la estremecedora responsabilidad en la ruina y destrucción de la tierra.
Laureados del Blue Planet fueron entre otros Vandana Shiva/Indien, Uri Avnery/Israel, y Jean Ziegler/Schweiz, con el Dead Planet Award se estigmatizaron entre otros los Presidentes y grandes accionistas de BP/Gran Bretaña, TEPCO/Japón y DEUTSCHE BANK/Alemania y FORMOSA PLASTICS/Taiwan.
