[Soundtrack] Iron Sky – The Coming Race

Iron Sky – The Coming Race is finally ready to launch big time! Whatever critics and fans might say about the sequel to the 2012 adventure Iron Sky, one thing is clear: the world premiere this January in Helsinki with about 2000 guests was probably the biggest ever for a Finnish movie. And another record, the movie’s EUR 20 mil. budget makes Iron Sky 2 (director: Timo Vuorensola) also the most expensive Finnish in history.

Laibach, this time in collaboration with Tuomas Kantelinen, also conducted the film score for the sequel. The group is now preparing the Iron Sky – The Coming Race soundtrack album release. The film will open in cinemas around Europe in February and March. While on tour, Laibach will perform two songs written especially for the film. A video for one of the songs (The Coming Race) is expected to be released in March.

[Revisited] Laibach Revisited Special Edition Box

A quick update on the production of the Laibach Revisited Special Edition Box to assuage your displeasure due to the delayed distribution. The production of the box is going well and according to the plan that we mentioned in the last newsletter – delivery should be made sometime in Q2 2019. The delay was a consequence of the extra effort made in remixing and remastering the work and some additional designer updates. We wanted to ensure that this product will truly be a piece of art and that your long wait would be worth it. Again – if you are unwilling to wait any longer, you are entitled to a full refund of any money paid. In order to arrange a refund, please send a simple request with all details to wtc.support@laibach.org.
