LAIBACH : 40 : DELAVSKI DOM : TRBOVLJE

 

Dear Friends,  Due to the latest Covid 19 regulations, we have had to change plans and move the central 40th Laibach Anniversary event from the Trbovlje Power Station to ‘Delavski dom Trbovlje’ – where it actually all started 40 years ago. We also had to change the date, which is now 23 October.  Delavski dom Trbovlje is a spectacular cultural center with several great venues that we will be able to use for our event. Back in 1980, Laibach was forbidden from holding a very similar ‘coming out’ event in this place of culture; therefore, we are going to do it now instead – 40 years later. Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, only approximately 100 spectators can be physically present in the entire venue. Only 100 people will be able to watch Laibach and the rest of the performers in vivo – and we can’t do anything about it. The tickets, therefore, have to be expensive (EUR 100) – the organizer has to cover at least some of the production costs.
